Wrinkled Runner Top 10 Blog Posts from 2020

I can’t believe it’s time to do another Top 10 Posts for the last year!

We are in 2021 already, and though 2020 was really hard for a lot of reasons…we can look forward to a new day and a fresh outlook.

I’m happy to say running seems to be something that a lot of people are getting on board with, learning that it is great for mental and physical health.

Top 10

  1. Apple Intervals App (Update)– This is by far the post that gets people to my site. A lot of runners must really be interested in intervals, which is great! I did a complete re-do of this app, so if you haven’t read this post in awhile check it out. Those of you who are interested in doing speed work can really benefit from this, as well as new runners who are running by time that don’t want to keep checking their watch.
  2. Hair Care for Runners– Yup, a lot of you have questions about what to do with hair. I know for me and my thin hair, I needed to do something to combat ponytails, sweat and hat wearing.
  3. Online Resources for Older Runners– The fact that this post is in the Top 3 proves to me that I am doing what I should…being an example of an older runner and encouraging others to get out there.
  4. Let’s Hear it for the Run/Walk– Runners from beginners to top level can benefit from taking walk breaks, and new runners usually learn how to get to 30 minutes of straight running using this method.
  5. Why I Will Never Run my Easy Days Hard– Running too hard ALL the time is detrimental to getting fitter and faster as a runner.
  6. Winter Gear for 2021– Pretty self explanatory, lol.
  7. Top 10 Posts from 2019– People love lists, and this one will link you to the top 10 from 2019…they are still relevant today so check them out!
  8. Warming Up for a Better Run– I suck at remembering to warm up, but this post reminded me how much we need it!
  9. My Year of Running Dangerously– I review the book by Tom Foreman
  10. Choosing a Running Shoe– The first step in learning to run is learning what to look for when choosing a shoe to do it in.
