Coaching Services

Hello Running (or soon-to-be-running) Friends!

If you are searching for a coach that will help you to start running, I am the coach for you. I specialize in beginning runners and love to help people who want to get started.

In addition to beginners, I have helped clients reach their bigger running goals. Building personalized training plans is FUN for me and so beneficial for you. You will start to learn how to formulate goals and the tools you need to reach them. My intent with more established runners is to start to teach them what goes into a plan that is more personalized and what you can do on your own to build up your fitness and get better.

You may think that coaching is just for those who are very fast, very young or very experienced. That is not the case! Anyone who wants to improve can find a coach that is passionate about guiding someone to reach their goals.

Whether you are just starting out or you would like someone to guide you as you progress, I would love to talk to you about what you are looking for and see if we would be a good fit.

Notes for Virtual Coaching

Virtual coaching is priced at $90 per month. This is due every 29 days after your initial payment. You can pre-pay for up to 3 months at a time if you wish to lock in your place on the roster. I only virtually coach 10 athletes at a time to be sure and give each person the individual attention they deserve. Individuals are not cookies, and your plans are not cookie-cutter. I update plans each week to reflect what is going on in your life and in your running.

We will use Zoom for our once a week virtual sessions, and an app that is appropriate for whatever method you are using to track your runs (more on that as we move forward with on-boarding).

You can also choose to purchase a one time virtual coaching session for $60 for one hour. These sessions are available once a quarter per person. When you book a single coaching session, you will answer a questionnaire so I know a little about you and your running before we meet. I will also want to know what specifically you are looking for during the session so I can be specific in return.

In addition to being a certified running coach, I am also a NASM certified personal trainer. I can add strength training to your program (in addition to what I provide from a more running specific standpoint already included in the training). The cost for this is $40 per month for running clients, whether in person or virtual. If you are interested in my Personal Trainer program only, please email me for details.

Notes for In-Person Coaching (available in. Buffalo, NY only):

Coaching contracts are for 3 month “blocks”. Please be aware that I do not coach in person during the months of December, January, February or March, but will do so virtually during those months. My reasoning is that with the Buffalo winters, it can be dangerous to try and meet in person on a specific day and time, so coaching you virtually will give you more flexibility to choose when to run.

The “in-person” segments are held at an agreed upon day and time, depending on availability. These are generally the same day/time week to week (twice a month), but can be changed if necessary.

Coaching fees are $110 per month from April-November, and $90 per month December-March. These are payable in installments (1st installment before our initial meeting and two other installments on the first Thursday of the month) or all at once.

I currently only take on a rolling in-person client list of 5 at a time so I can give proper attention to each athlete. I will put anyone who wants to be on a waiting list, and contact you when a slot becomes available to see if you are still interested.

In the meantime, I will also refer you to other Buffalo area coaches that may be able to take you on. My interest is to see you running and I want to help you do that, whether you become my client or someone else’s!

For more information, use the form below and let me know you are interested in virtual, single session or in-person coaching services. It’s unfortunate, but I get MANY spam emails every day with only the phrase “more information” in the note block, so please do specify which coaching package you are interested in or you may not hear from me. Use the “Contact Us” button to send the form. Tech can be glitchy, so if you haven’t heard back in a few days send me an email and let me know you sent in a form.
