Whole Wheat Crust with Veggies and Burrata  

Ingredients

This recipe used to be on the King Arthur website as King Arthur Tasty Whole Grain Pizza Crust, but the link has stopped working.

3 cups Whole Wheat Flour

2 t. instant yeast

1 1/4 t. salt

2 T. honey

2 T. lukewarm orange juice

2 T. olive oil

3/4 cup lukewarm water

vegetables of choice

parmesan cheese

burrata cheese

pizza sauce

spices

Combine the first 7 ingredients and let sit for 30 minutes

Mix and knead the dough by hand or by stand mixer (you can also use the dough function on a bread machine

Transfer the dough to a bowl and let rest, covered, for 30 minutes. Place bowl in refrigerator for 18 hours.

Roll out the dough and place in a pan (if using a pizza stone, let it rise somewhere other than on the stone so you can preheat the oven with the stone inside). Brush sauce onto the dough and load up with toppings (cook any vegetables first). Let rise for 2 hours.

Heat the oven to 450F, and add parmesan (use as much or as little as you like). Bake for 8 minutes, remove from the oven and top with burrata.

Bake for an additional 8 minutes until cheese is melted.
